IIPImage has a funky new fast and lightweight flash client. It’s fast and fluid with super-smooth zooming and panning. It’s built using Daniel Gasienica’s awesome open source OpenZoom SDK. This initial 0.1 release only contains basic zooming and panning functionality, but future versions will add some of the more advanced scientific features available in IIPMooViewer such as image blending and multi-spectral visualization.
Check out the demos and download the binary distribution from here: iipzoom-0.1.zip. Inside you will also find not only the swf flash binary, but also an example HTML file showing how to use and configure the flash object with javascript.
